4. Literary Pub Crawl
Are you looking for a little writing inspiration? Has the gloomy weather dampened your creative spirit? Fear not, the Maverick Theatre Company are running a weekly literary pub crawl, designed to entertain and inspire. “Join the late Charles Dickens and Virginia Woolf to see the pubs and taverns where the Giants of the literary world ate, drank, discussed, thought, and worked”, promise the organisers. Crawls will happen every Saturday, starting again on 9 January 2016. The team also organises an urban writing retreat for those city-dwelling writers needing a day-long boost.
5. Honestly, why bother with anything but a secret hot tub party?
You’ve worked hard this year. You deserve a drink. In fact, you deserve to be served a drink while relaxing in a steaming hot tub with your mates. And that’s exactly what you can do at Soak, Hackney Wick’s canal-side hot tub party. What better way to defeat the cold than to tackle it head-on, bikini-clad, drink in hand, in a hot tub. Sounds like pure bliss to us. £20 buys you 2 hours of tubbing heaven.
That’s all we’ve got for now, but we’ll be right back with some more great events for you!
